Lia Bicudo is a Biotechnologist at Gusmão & Labrunie, holding a degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University for Latin American Integration (UNILA). She focuses her practice on Intellectual Property matters involving patents in the Life Sciences field. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has been involved in the protection of technological innovations, patent analysis, and Intellectual Property strategies for Life Sciences technologies.

Throughout her academic career, Lia dedicated herself to research and development projects in molecular biology, including the standardization and application of molecular techniques. In 2025, she completed an advanced training program in Molecular Biology Techniques at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR).

Her scientific background, combined with her experience in Intellectual Property, enables her to provide strategic and technically grounded support to Brazilian and international clients, particularly in matters involving innovation and the protection of technologies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors.
