Janainna Pereira is a Patent Specialist at Gusmão & Labrunie. She holds a degree and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law. Since joining the firm in 2019, she has focused her practice on the Life Sciences sector.

Her practice is dedicated to the prosecution of patent applications and the provision of technical advisory services involving chemical technologies, as well as technical support to the firm’s litigation team in patent disputes. Janainna combines a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering with practical experience in Intellectual Property, enabling her to deliver strategic and technically sound advice in complex patent matters.
