Hariel Santos is an Attorney in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice at Gusmão & Labrunie. He began his career with the firm as an intern and has developed his practice in Intellectual Property disputes involving patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyright, and personality rights.

Before joining the litigation team, Hariel worked in the firm’s Trademark Practice, focusing on proceedings before the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI). This experience across both administrative and judicial matters provides him with a comprehensive perspective on the protection and enforcement of intangible assets, combining practical expertise in rights management with strategic litigation.

He holds an LL.B. from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His practice is focused on matters requiring technical analysis, procedural strategy, and a thorough understanding of the legal mechanisms available to protect Intellectual Property rights.
