Raquel Stabellini is a Patent Specialist in the Life Sciences Practice at Gusmão & Labrunie. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences and a Ph.D. in Science/Molecular Biology from the University of São Paulo (USP). Her background combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience in genetic testing and genomics.

Since joining the firm in 2023, Raquel has been involved in all stages of patent prosecution, including the drafting and adaptation of patent applications for filing in Brazil, responses to technical office actions, third-party submissions, and appeals against patent refusals. Her practice is distinguished by her ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into effective Intellectual Property protection strategies.
