Louise Azulay Palavecino

Biologist

Louise Azulay Palavecino is a Biologist at Gusmão & Labrunie. She holds both a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Science and Biotechnology from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and has completed short-term doctoral research at the University of São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto, and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She has been practicing Intellectual Property since 2017 and joined the firm in 2024.

 

With a strong scientific background and nearly ten years of experience in the field, Louise focuses her practice on biotechnology patents. Her academic and research experience provides a solid foundation for the assessment of complex technologies and the development of effective patent protection strategies in sectors where science, innovation, and Intellectual Property are closely interconnected.
