Caio Pereira is a Mechanical Engineer in the Patent Practice at Gusmão & Labrunie, with a postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Since 2019, his practice has focused on the technical and strategic aspects of patents and industrial designs.

He advises clients across a wide range of technological fields, including metallurgy, agricultural machinery, the food industry, automotive, oil and gas, and telecommunications. In addition to handling patent and industrial design prosecution before the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI), he serves as a technical expert in litigation involving patents and industrial designs, helping translate complex technical matters into clear and effective legal strategies. Caio also contributes to the dissemination of knowledge in the field by lecturing on Industrial Property to a variety of professional and academic audiences.
