Anderson Chim is a Mechatronics Engineer in the Patent Practice at Gusmão & Labrunie, specializing in patents and industrial designs. He holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). With nearly 15 years of experience in Intellectual Property, he has built his career at leading Intellectual Property firms and has been with Gusmão & Labrunie since 2020.

His practice combines technical expertise with strategic legal insight, focusing on patent and industrial design prosecution, advisory work, proceedings before the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI), and technical support in litigation involving patents and industrial designs. He advises Brazilian and international clients across a broad range of technological fields, including automotive, energy, telecommunications, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, electronics, and mechanical engineering.
