Elisson Garé is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice at Gusmão & Labrunie, with more than 15 years of experience handling complex disputes involving Intellectual Property, technology, and intangible assets. He holds an LL.M. in Information and Communication Technology Law from the University of Oslo and is currently pursuing an LL.M. degree in Commercial Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). His practice combines strong legal expertise with a deep understanding of innovation and the protection of rights in complex technological environments.
His work focuses on litigation involving trademarks, patents, unfair competition, software, technology, and brand protection. Throughout his career, Elisson has represented Brazilian and international clients in high-profile disputes before Brazilian courts, including cases involving piracy, counterfeiting, trademark infringement, and other Intellectual Property violations.
This experience has strengthened his practice in developing effective enforcement strategies that combine judicial and extrajudicial measures to protect intangible assets in highly competitive markets. He is also actively involved in the advancement of the profession as a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-SP) and is consistently recognized by leading legal and Intellectual Property directories.
