His career began in 2004 in the legal department of BASF, where he worked closely with the Intellectual Property challenges of the chemical industry. In 2006, he joined Gusmão & Labrunie, where he established a practice focused on trademarks and advisory services, working closely with clients to develop effective strategies for protecting intangible assets.

Thiago advises companies on matters involving trademarks, copyright, domain names, software, and other intellectual assets, including risk assessment, dispute prevention, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
